HE GOT A FISI TO DRIVE, HE GOT A FISI TO DRIVE...

46-year-old chauffeur driver Pete Moore, from Orpington, Kent got the ride of a lifetime after he ate a dodgy prawn sandwich before a job. Halfway through the job, Pete became very sick and had to pull over at the side of the road. His passenger offered to drive but there was no need to ask if they had a licence as his passenger was F1 ace Giancarlo Fisichella!

Italian ace Fisichella was on his way to play in the PartyPoker.com Sports Stars Challenge IV poker event in London, joining the likes of Jacques Villeneuve and French World Cup winner Frank Leboeuf.

"I felt a right prawn," said Pete, who was working as a driver for Matchroom Sport, "but it's not everyday you get an F1 driver driving your car. I picked up a sandwich from a local shop before I took the job and felt really sick half way through my journey between Central and East London. Fisichella was very nice about it and didn't even drive that fast because of all the traffic. When my mates saw him pull up at the studio driving the car they couldn't believe it!"

Fisichella is a driver for Force India and has taken part in 220 F1 races. He has also been a driver for Jordan, Benetton, Minardi, Sauber and Renault in an F1 career that started in 1996. His car of choice in rescuing the taxi driver was a 3.3 V6 silver Chrysler Voyager people carrier.

"I had no choice but to help Pete - he suddenly came over all sick. At least I got to get a drive in Britain before the British Grand Prix," said Fisi

** The poker tournament winner was 34-year-old unemployed road builder Jason Brennan from Archway, London. He qualified to play poker with his sporting heroes for absolutely nothing and took home £27,000. Amongst the players he beat included darts legend Phil 'The Power' Taylor and former Ryder Cup captain Sam Torrance.**
